Safeway SELECT Bank certificates of deposit and certain deposit accounts were transferred to E*TRADE Bank on March 10, 2003.

If your account was transferred to E*TRADE Bank, please contact them at 1-877-914-2434.

All remaining deposit accounts were closed and checks for the remaining balance were mailed on or about February 28, 2003.

On September 12, 2003, Amicus FSB, doing business as Safeway SELECT Bank, remitted to the State of Florida (Amicus FSB's state of operations) the total amount of all unclaimed account balances (including uncashed Cashier Checks) of customers residing in Florida and of customers residing in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon and Washington (the states in which most of Amicus FSB’s customers reside). The State of Florida has agreed, in turn, to remit unclaimed account balances of the customers in those other six states to those specific State unclaimed property offices.

Claims must be submitted directly with the state's unclaimed property office, if you are a resident of Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Oregon or Washington (see Unclaimed Property State Contact Information below); or
